Odd choices at the Brixton Ritzy

Strange occurrences at the Brixton Ritzy, a south London oasis of arthouse cinema. The Picturehouse cinema runs a special club on Fridays for parents with babies under a year old called the Big Scream, and what should they be showing on Friday February 19? None other than ghetto hopedasher Precious, which features:

  • incest
  • at least two counts of babies being thrown about
  • fat people
  • more cursing than you can shake a stick at
  • a generally tense and unpleasant tone

Perfect for young minds, n’est-ce pas? Big Scream indeed.
